This elegant 1945–1955 American footstool was crafted by Sanford Furniture Company of North Carolina and reflects a refined Queen Anne revival sensibility. The carved mahogany frame features graceful cabriole legs with shell-carved knees and scroll feet, lending the piece a light, sculptural presence. The generously scaled seat is upholstered in a neutral white damask, offering a soft contrast to the warm mahogany tone and allowing the stool to work easily in both traditional and transitional interiors.
