A pair of Chinese imperial decorative glazed ceramic roof tiles of molded mythical creatures in a seated position above semi-circular tiles. During imperial times, decorative mythical figures were placed along the ridge lines of official Chinese buildings forming an outward marching procession of nine beasts, including an evil-dispelling bull and a wind- and storm-summoning sea creature.
