Large Chinese blue-and-white porcelain bowl featuring an impressive hand-painted five-clawed dragon amid stylized clouds and flames. The interior center medallion depicts a coiled dragon surrounded by a decorative flame border, while the exterior showcases a continuous dragon motif rendered in rich cobalt blue under a glossy glaze.
The bowl bears a six-character Xuande reign mark on the underside (“Da Ming Xuande Nian Zhi” — “Made during the Xuande reign of the Great Ming”), executed in underglaze blue.
Notable details include:
