The short neck is decorated with a band of white and yellow fleur-de-lys, accented with blue hatching, on a black ground with pink and white, ornate, floral pendants above and wide pink band below at the neck flange. The shoulder of the vase is decorated with a band of large, turquoise, pink and white, Ru Yi lappets with yellow accents. A finely drawn, white, Buddhist rose and lotus bud below amid ornate, intertwining, leafy vines and acanthus decorate the front and back of the vase, separated on each side by two columns of a trio of smaller flowers amid a mirror image network of ornate, leafy, intertwining vines. The flowers on the left column are a Buddhist rose, chrysanthemum, and plum flower, top to bottom, on the right side column are a sun flower, orchid and a Buddhist rose. A large band of ornate, turquoise, yellow and white, Ru Yi lappets, each enclosing a stylized Buddhist rose, decorate the foot. A blue, six character, Yongzheng, reign mark within double circles is glazed to the inset circle centered in the base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu stand is included. Circa Republic of China era.
