Offered is a staved and lathed Teak wood herb chopping board that doubles as a cheese and charcuterie tray and comes with its own matching knife that slides into slits in the two sled-leg risers below the surface. Designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk, this one is made in Thailand in the mid to late 1970s, and has a small magnet on the bottom to keep the knife secure.
The board is gently curved for chopping, grating and mincing herbs, bacon, cheese, fruit, salad leaves, etc, and it is paired here with a Teak-handled (unknown brand) and stainless steel crescent blade that is intended to slice and dice in a rocking motion on the cupped surface.
The board measures 8.375" L x 8.375" W x 1.5" H
The knife measures 1" W x 8.75" L x 0.75" H
The crescent blade measures 5" L x 0.875" in thickness (the handle) x 3.325" H
