The lithograph print poster is printed in 1983 for an exhibition at The Walker Art Center Minneapolis Minnesota organized by The Whitney Museum of Art New York. It features an original artwork created by the artist Milton Avery in 1947 titled " Red Rock Falls ".

Milton Avery ( 1885 - 1965 ) is a non traditional American Modern painter. While clearly representational, Avery's work is seminal to American Abstract painting as it focuses on color relations and is not concerned with creating the illusion of depth. Often thought of as the American " Matisse " because of his colorful, imaginative, and poetic bold creative use of drawing & color, that set him apart from the other painters of his era. Avery's paintings are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out f print lithograph print framed poster measures 26 1/4" W X 31 1/4" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with plexiglass in a classic Modern dark pewter satin finish Nielsen frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. There is some signs of wear to the frame on one corner and on the lower underside.
