The silkscreen print concert movie poster was published in an unnumbered limited edition by Warner Bros Inc. for the release of the famous concert movie, printed by Poster Prints in Plymouth Square Center, Conshohocken Pa. in 1969. The rare out of print poster features the iconic artwork of the American graphic artist and book publisher Arnold H. Skolnick ( b.1937 ), in a palette of ivory off white cream and purple.

Woodstock was a music festival held on a dairy farm in the Catskill mountains New York in August 1969, which attracted an audience of more than 400,000. Billed as " An Antiquarian Exposition : 3 Days of Peace & Music ", it was held at Max Yasgur's 600 acre dairy farm. Rolling Stone listed it as one of the 50 moments that changed the history of Rock & Roll.

The event was captured in the Academy Award winning documentary movie. The concert included performances by Joan Baez, Joni Mitichell, Santana, Arlo Guthrie, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, and Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young among many other famous musicians. In 2017 the Woodstock concert site was listed on the National Register of historic places.

The large format rare vintage 1969 framed concert movie poster measures 30 1/4" W X 41 3/4" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with plexiglass in a classic Modern white metal Nielsen frame molding with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age. There is some signs of wear in the outer margin corner areas. Please see photos for condition reference.
