An artist who rose from the weaving and fiber industry, being an artist there, to take up, in the last 15 years of his life, weave sculptures; some as large as 12 feet high. As to this work he once said "these baskets express themselves with an exuberance that will transform your interior space".

The basket here is titled "Speckled Seismic Stripes, Black & Natural" And its twills standing in between a solid wood base and round frame, painted black. It is signed and dated on the bottom. A truly stunning piece.
