Four beautifully carved winged gryphon figures resting on the "y" stretcher serve as supports along with a central urn form pedestal. The table has two drawers incorporated into the apron, all ornamented with lovely "arabesque" patterns of scrolling acanthus leaves and a central cartouche. This pattern is repeated on the apron at both ends. The table top has a molded edge with lamb's tongue pattern and acanthus leaf motifs at the corners. See less
