Bruno Rey is a Swiss designer whose minimalist line is turned towards the function. For his seats published by Dietiker, he developed an ingenious fixing system between the base and the seat pancakes. The result is stackable chairs and stools, with an original and somewhat futuristic design. Thus, the seat of his stools is as suspended and offset from the base. This rare model of bar stool is fully part of the formal vocabulary of Bruno Rey. The feet are attached to the seat by plastic parts which are the cause of a nice lag between the elements. In the lower part, the base is circled in order to offer rigidity to the whole and a comfortable footrest for the user.
The stool is made of wood and plywood. It has some traces of use on the seat. Stein AM Rhein's manufacturer's label is still present under the seat.
