An elaborate Louis XV style marble-top table with gold gilt finish and beautiful hand-carved details circa 1890. Its original, serpentine and beveled marble top has wonderful coloring throughout, removable for transport. The painted and giltwood base has a scalloped and carved apron featuring rococo motifs as floral and shell designs flanked by scrolls and more foliage on the corners and sides. Cabriole legs elegantly end with escargot feet connected with a curved, X-shaped stretcher topped with a shell finial.
