The artist captures a moment when the mother koala climbing a tree with her baby on her back turns to look at the observer. They are content, curious and welcoming. It is a view you would delight in should you have encountered the bears in nature or in a zoo.

The image is beautifully detailed in textured glass. The rough bark of the tree, the close fur on the bears' bodies and the wonderful tuffs of hair in their ears are all detailed.
