Very comfortable space age "Karate" armchair by the french designer Michel Cadestin, manufactured by Airborne (France) during the 70's.
This pivoting lounge chair is made of a fiberglass shell with upholstered seats.
Originally upholstered with a green velvet fabric, the fabric is in used but in good condition (see the pictures).
Its organically rounded and embracing form invites for a comfortable sitting. This version is fully upholstered.
This armchair was notably displayed in 1971 in the very first scenes of the French film by Serge Korber with Louis de Funes, "Sur un arbre perché".
