Published by Te Neues Publishing Co., printed in 1993 in Germany in an unnumbered limited edition with the authorized licensed rights of The Estate of Keith Haring. The lithograph print poster features an untitled " Smile " original artwork created by Haring in 1981.
Keith Haring ( 1958 - 1990 ) was an incredibly vibrant American artist and social activist who's artwork responded to the 1980's Street culture by expressing concepts of birth, death, sexuality, and war. Haring's work was often heavily political and his imagery became a widely recognized vivid and iconic visual language of The 20th Century. haring's close friends and contemporaries included Andy Warhol. Jean Michel Basquiat, and Madonna, all of whom he collaborated with in his lifetime. Artworks by Haring are included in the collections of the most important Modern Art museums worldwide.
The rare vintage lithograph print collector's Pop Art poster features the official " KH " Estate authorized seal. It measures 24 1/2" W X 35 1/2" H. It is printed on high quality heavyweight paper stock with vibrant ink colors in a matte finish. I
