A very rare large chamotte clay stoneware vase executed in 'tricolor' glazes in green, red (orange), black, and grey (white).Much like the Italian flag. Decorated with circular geometric sun or flower like incisions towards the border of the green drip-glaze. We have seen this vase being attributed to Rorstrand but everything suggest that it was actually made in Italy during the 1960s by Aldo Londi for Bitossi. It has no markings which is not uncommon for rare Bitossi pieces of this period. Measurements: H: 30 cm, Diameter: 9 (neck/top). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
