Dressage & Equestrian Riding Enthusiasts Will Love This Rare Antique Side Saddle Riding Cane With Sterling Silver Capped Scottish Hoof.
This piece is beautifully hand crafted with a highly polished Scottish goat hoof hook capped with finely decorated sterling silver end pieces. The flat top of the 3.5” hook was used to push open gates while the crook was conveniently used to retrieve reins from the groomsman. Each section of the cane is separated by a sterling collar and the long wooden shaft tapers from the handle to a brass ferrule on the end.
Truly one of a kind, this riding cane has been well cared for, for over 100 years, making it the perfect gift for every equestrian lover and dressage enthusiast.
