Small burlwood hibachi (fire pot) used for pipe smoking (Tabako-bon 煙草ぼん) from the Taishō period.
The section where the glowing coals were placed is lined with a metal and copper interior. Additionally, there is a removable compartment for storing pipes and other tobacco items.
A unique, organically shaped decorative piece, also suitable as a plant stand or flower vase.
Dimensions: height 11.5 cm, width 20 cm, depth 17.5 cm.
