This Italian designer studied at the Instituto Statale d'Arte before beginning his career at Anonima Castelli. For more than two decades, he created various furniture ranges, including his Plia chair, Alky armchair, and Dorsal, which have become iconic pieces of design. His creations are both functional and aesthetic and have been widely recognized throughout the design world. "Alky" is typical of 1970s design and is part of the Space Age movement. This movement emerged in the 1960s in response to the space race and is characterized by the use of organic shapes and new materials to create a utopian futuristic aesthetic. It has influenced many fields, from fashion to architecture and popular culture.

This armchair is designed with a solid aluminum frame covered with polyurethane foam. It rests on a metal base that ensures good stability. Its upholstery is made of khaki vegan fabric.
