The table is made by hand from solid pine. There is a very thin layer of the original grey blue paint where the pine underneath shines through. It creates a unique patina of time which makes the character of the table truly stunning. The table top is a large oval and can be lifted off the leg frame. The table has a box stretcher, pieces connecting the legs, with a wide capping over which was used as a footrest to avoid draughts during the cold season. Healthy and stable frame. See less
