Attributed to the Cenedese company, and to designer Antonio Da Ros. The beak has gold leaf on it. Has 2 little applied eyes on the face. The piece glows bright neon green under a black light from the high amount of Uranium / UV reactive glass (see photo). It is made with thick glass, and it is heavy for its size. Would make a great display piece for any dresser, coffee table or credenza. The bird measures 10" tall x 7" long x 2 3/4" wide.
For accuracy there is an imperfection on the surface at the bottom edge. Hard to see when displayed.
