Arthur Krakower (American, 1921-2009) "Woman in the Garden" Monotype c.2006
Arthur Krakower got his Master of Fine Arts degree from the California College of Arts and Crafts at the age of 80!
A monotype is created by applying paint to a glass plate and pressing it onto the paper. The resulting image is filled with texture, clean lines, and plate marks. This is a unique monotype with hand embellishments by Krakower.
Titled "Woman in the Garden"
Pencil signed, dated and titled by the artist.
Plate marks 16" x 20". The heavy wove BFK Rives France paper measures 22" x 30"
Very good condition. Comes unframed. Be sure to use archival materials when framing.
