Arthur Krakower (1921-2009) "Atherton" Original Monotype c.2004
Original monotype by noted octogenarian artist Arthur Krakower.
Titled "Atherton" This simple, yet elegant print is brightly colored, and will brighten up any room.
Though this is technically a print, it's more like a painting, as it's a one of a kind piece of art created by applying paint to a glass plate, and pressing the glass to paper. The image is stunning!
Arthur received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the California College of Arts & Crafts when he was 80 years old!
Pencil signed, titled & dated by the artist.
The plate marks measure 11 3/4" x 15 3/4". The heavy wove paper measures 22" x 30"
