These late 19th century Limoges porcelain dinner plates were made and decorated by highly regarded French porcelain manufactory Tressemanes & Vogt. The shoulders of the plates feature jade green glaze bordered at the inside with a wide gilt band bearing floral and foliate details. The scalloped rims have been hand finished in thick gilt paint. The underside of the plates bear green Tressemanes & Vogt "T&V Limoges France" backstamps.
These elegant porcelain dinner plates display beautifully and coordinate particularly well with Limoges floral patterns. The color and style also work well mixed and matched with serveware produced by other fine porcelain manufacturers. A lovely and versatile set sure to be enjoyed for years.
