Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso red orange, white and gold flecks Italian art glass fish figurine / sculpture. The fish is attributed to designer Galliano Ferro, for the Fornasa De Murano A L'Insegna Del Moreto company. The piece has a zigzag or chevron pattern decoration that is clearly hovering over the gold and white glass layer. It has a flat body and stands on a small clear glass base. Would make a great companion piece on any desk, coffee table or curio cabinet. Use it as a paperweight, or display it as a decorative piece in your home. Mid-century era. Last photo shows some small nicks on the edge of the base. Mentioned for accuracy. Measures 5 1/4" long x 4 1/4" high x 1 1/4" wide.
