We found this chair at one of our properties when tenants were moving out. When I looked through the dust … Read more We found this chair at one of our properties when tenants were moving out. When I looked through the dust I realized that the original black vinyl-like upholstery was immaculate. I decided to take her home and show her some love. The wood frame was sanded and 3 coats of zinser primer was applied. Sanding in between coats to ensure smoothness. I then applied 6+ coats of ppg gold metallic paint. I found the best way to apply this paint was in light coats, therefore some places have 6 coats while others have 10+ coats depending on predictive wear. We absolutely love this chair and can't imagine waking up and not drinking my morning coffee ,but I have many projects lined up.
