Bell … Read more Rare Victorian Lustre Pitcher in The rarely seen pattern, “British and Foreign Birds”. Manufactured by J & M. P. Bell & Company potteries if Galsgow between 1850-1870. The body of the jug features deep blue transfer images of pairs of birds (appearing to be quail and ducks ) against a dense brush, different species on each side. Embellished with leaves and flowers, transfers tinted in a lush palette of Cinnabar, Green, & Lustre glazes. See less
