Hans Erni's portfolio "Ivresse" celebrates wine and the grape. Pencil signed lithographs from this series are quite rare. Bacchus or a "type" of Bacchus is depicted in this pencil signed and numbered ("18/20") ltd. ed. color lithograph after listed Swiss artist Hans Erni (Swiss 1909-2015). Erni passed away recently at 106 years old and even while alive was considered to be a Swiss national treasure. Out of a total limited edition of 300 this lithograph is from portfolio #18 of 20 portfolios on velin de arches that were set aside for the Main Street Gallery in Chicago. Printed in Zurich in 1962 under the direction of the artist. Pencil signed by Erni. Dimensions: 14.75"x20.75" unframed. Will be shipped in a tube. Dimensions: 14.75ʺW × 1ʺD × 20.75ʺH
