Stunning hand painted Chines porcelain pill box with silver plated metal overlay .It has a kind of gray base color and blue hand painted design of a scenery of a Chinese man and tree on the top, mountains, houses , and Chinese man on the side of the box and 3 Chinese man and a tree inside of the box.
The silver plated metal motif is of dragons and phoenix. Very well done with great detail. Marked on base.
Measurement: 2” H x 2.5” Diamter

The smaller one is a vintage piece .Darling hand made trinket box from the mid century (the porcelain could perhaps be older). The bottom consists of silver-plate embossed with lovely stamped design. The top features a shard of Chinese porcelain, hand painted in a blue and white floral koi fish motif. The box has a cloverleaf/floral shape, suggestive of it's handmade quality. The top lifts off and can be used to store small jewelry, rings, earrings, etc. Could be a pill box. It would also make a lovely gift presentation box or keepsake. Approx. 2" W x 2" D x 1" H See less
