There is some … Read more Vintage; Hollywood Regency era hand forged, hammered copper magazine holder, with polished brass, tassel-rope motif, embellished handles. There is some patina, to the copper, indicative to the material, but the beauty of the aging process, given the year and era of manufacture. We decided not to polish the copper, and leave it up to potential Buyer's, as some prefer patina on metals vs. others. Nonetheless it does not detract from the overall look, and utility of this eclectic addition to any interior space, but a conversation piece of whimsical fortitude abounds. From a Stuart, Fl. In excellent condition, "only a minor dent near handle on one side, overall effect of the hammered process makes it oblivious, unless scrutinizing it closely, but a fabulous piece. See less
