- The wood is thirsty! Some water stains, scuffs, scratches and dings. The mirror has some loss and darkening to the … moreThe wood is thirsty! Some water stains, scuffs, scratches and dings. The mirror has some loss and darkening to the silvering, particularly along the edges where it meets the frame of the table. The wood should be fairly easy to give a light sanding and new finish. However care should be taken to avoid the decorative corner details as I'm not sure how deep or durable they are in addition to them being a contrasting color. less
