Artist: Halasa, Alfred
The charming and talented man known as Alfred Halasa studied architecture and industrial design in Poland, and worked in Paris for many years before emigrating to Canada in 1976. His tenure at the University of Quebec in Montreal began in 1977. In 1981 he was a founding member of the UQAM Design Centre.The recipient of numerous design awards, the focus of many museum exhibitions, and a manor intelligence, charm and skill, Mr. Halasa continues his research around the conceptualization of visual language in communication and design experiments.
