We are selling this charming mid 19th century oil painting on canvas of two cherubs or putti. This painting is executed in oil on canvas and is after the famous painting of two angels on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel by Raphael. The painting came from an important New York estate.
Condition: Several tears and punctures to the canvas. Several damages and losses to the gilding and gesso on the frame.
