Discovered in an artisan studio on the island of Hydra off the Saronic Islands in Greece in 1993. This handcrafted artisan piece of terracotta pottery, creates a wonderful sheltered lantern for a candle from swathing organic forms and patterned piercing into the body of the form. The resulting quality of light emits a series of dancing dots within the environment that it hangs. The terracotta surface has gently weathered over the subsequent years from its placement within a garden and has taken on the look of some large seed head. A piece like this is very sculptural and will easily be adaptable to the interior or exterior space it floats in from its cabled cord. It has occurred to us that for more permanent lighting the lantern could be hardwired. Weight 3.2kg cable length 58cm.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
