Pair of finely engraved gilt brass European Gothic Revival pricket candlesticks

Approximate size: 17 (h) x 5 (w) x 4.5 (d) in.
This pair of finely engraved and chased cast brass gilded candlesticks feature a triangular-form base inclusive of openwork crosses. The stem and central knops are elegantly realized with a diamond-and-flower motif with the negative space etched in finely striated horizontal lines. A leaf-stylized motif forms the candle cup.
Condition: Minor traces of rubbing to the gilding. Loss to the top of one candle prick.
