This large Ventru vase is a production of Accolay potters. His particular enamel is very raw, in nuanced earth colors. Ceramics are of good size and a beautiful presence, with a particularly decorative raw aspect.
The vase is very good, the enameling is nuanced, alive. The vase is in very good condition. The room is stamped in the mass on the cheek.
8.5-14cm in diameter, 21.5cm high.
In the middle of the 20th century, Accolay was the setting for a real ceramic revolution. Four former students of Alexandre Kostanda settled in the small village of the Yonne in the mid -1940s, many potters will follow their example. For forty years, the production of Accolay potters will be impressive, original and daring, characterized by thick, often speckled enamels and crazy creativity.
