It dates to the mid 1800s. This piece is absolutely incredible- Embossed leather on the back of the chair that depicts French scenery with the front completely hand painted AND gilded!!! and on leather!! The frame is also incredible nail head trim with an X frame stretched - ornate carvings and its own finial! See less
