Ball and stick was very … Read more Offered are four half spindle, ball and stick, pressed back oak chairs with caned seats. Ball and stick was very popular in the late Victorian and into the early 1900’s. These chairs in very good condition The cane seats appear to have recently redone. There is evidence of one repair to a support strut under one of the chairs. All of the chairs are sturdy and sit level. These chairs are came out of Lancaster Co. in Pennsylvania and a previous owner placed a mailing sticker on the underside of one of the chairs that remains in place.
