The shelf rim has a border of chevrons bracketed by thin blue trim circles. The neck has a two finely drawn lotus flowers floating in a pond amid lotus pads and leaves, bracketed by thin, blue trim circles, and a band of ganoderma medallions amid curling, leafy vines at the flange, also bracketed by thin blue, trim circles. Three, finely drawn and shaded scenes of lotus plants amid other lakeside flora and two kingfishers adorn the main body of the vase, bracketed by thin, blue trim circles. The foot is decorated with a band of intertwining vines bracketed by thin, blue trim circles. A blue, six character, Yongzheng, reign mark in Zhuanshu script is glazed to the inset base. The traditional, Chinese, hongmu, circular stand with four cartouches quartered on the side, decorated with finely carved, double dragons chasing the Pearl of Wisdom, is included. Circa mid century.
