A lovely hand blown art glass studio vase by artists Christopher Constantin and Kathleen Young from the 1980s. Vase is reddish in color, with purple rope wrapped around and a dark blue base.
Measures 18 ¾” high, top diameter 6” and bottom diameter 5”. Model # 1394334.
Young and Constantin were only able to work together for a brief period before Christopher passed away in 2001. There does not seem to be too much information on them or their body of work. There are a few things known; for example, Christopher had intensive studies with Lino Tagliapierta, of Murano, Venice, Italy 1988 and 1990 while Kathleen was an all-around artist with experiences in pottery, painting, photography, drawing and paper making with intensive study in silversmithing 1990 and glass blowing.
