A lovely set of four 18th century style portrait engravings with allegorical scenes presented in giltwood frames under glass with very fine hand-colored matting. The engravings were done by George Vertue and published by J & P Knapton, and in the collection of Dr. Richard Mead. They are of William Harvey, M.D., Ben Johnson, Charles Howard Earl of Nottingham, and William Cavendish Duke of New Castle.
