Early Irish Queen Anne walnut side chair, circa 1720 to 1750. All the beauty in this is found in the scrolling crest with volutes above a fiddle splat on a balloon shaped seat with a later damask cover. Bold cabriole legs at front terminate in trifid feet. Later damask slip seat cover.
This beautifully styled chair should be displayed prominently and used often.
Height 38 inches width 23 inches depth 18 1/2 inches No major repairs. All in glowing, polished walnut.
