There are hundreds of hours that were spent on the creation of this Deco room divider. Small pieces of jade and shell were used to perfection to create scenes
of a Japanese cherry blossom tree blooming in the splendor of an awakening spring, while birds swirl around the top of the "Somei Yoshino" type of cherry tree. The color of the blossoms are a pale pink that open up before the tree leaves. The blossoms are call "Sakura Blossoms." I found this luxuriously decorated screen in an antique store on La Brea Avenue in West Hollywood California, known as Designer Row of Los Angeles. 2 middle panels are 2 inside panels are 1" W. 2 Outside panels are 1 1/2" W.
