They were designed by Jaroslav … Read more This pair of model 53 armchairs was manufactured by Ton in the 1950s to 1960s. They were designed by Jaroslav Smidek. The interior has been changed and covered with a blue colored fabric upholstery. The frame is in bent beech. The beech elements cleaned and painted in oak mordant and polished with a lacquer. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
