Unglazed matte pottery vase with eight "Perpetual Faces". Based on the style of Italian artist designer PieRo Fornasetti, who was also later "copied/inspired" by J. Adler, who also has a similar design.
This is the one from the VITRUVIAN COLLECTION. "Inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. Each design is individually handcast and hand finished by experienced artisians. " Stamped TMS. This is not a dated one in the stamp, from research this shows to be one of the earlier examples.
No restorations, cracks or damaged facial features, great piece, we add highly magnified photos to show vintage wear. This is a one of a kind artisian made and will have minute imperfections in the clay.
