Excellent vintage 4-panel folding silk screen, painted in the style of The Ming dynasty (1368–1644), depicting a stunning landscape with a temple, pine trees, buildings, rocks and a boat. Watercolor and gouache on silk over board. Silk border. Lacquered brown wood frame with engraved copper corners and medallions, showing age patina. Paper and four Asian style brass hangers on back. Detailed. Probably Hong Kong, circa 1960s. Very good condition - some age wear overall, water damage on the first panel, strong hinges, clean, sturdy.
