This a rare Victorian pine egg crate made by the Dairy Supply Co and sold by Crittall & Winterton ironmongers … Read more This a rare Victorian pine egg crate made by the Dairy Supply Co and sold by Crittall & Winterton ironmongers of Braintree.
The box is very rustic and has a lift up lift and latch to the front.
The sides, front and lid are all stamped and there is a brass label on the inside of the lid.
A lovely rustic piece of kitchenalia, found on a Devon farm.

It measures
22cms high x 35cms wide x 24.5cms deep

In generally solid structural condition with many marks of age and use and age.
The front has suffered some wood worm damage.
The box has been treated and the worm is long inactive. See less
