  • "These chairs are well-constructed and have a unique and very colorful fabric. There is no staining; the fabric on both chairs is unblemished."

    Nov. 12, 2016, 5:46 p.m.

  • "M. T.: Apparently you're in east Texas, which is a long way from California. "Local Delivery" means providing delivery in, or within a reasonable distance of La Quinta, CA. So I am unable to provide you with "local delivery." Your option is the Chairish White Glove delivery."

    July 5, 2016, 1:46 p.m.

  • "M. T.: It looks like the only shipping option available for this order is White Glove shipping or "Free Local Pickup". The seller does not have an alternate local delivery service that they can use. Thanks! XOXO"

    July 5, 2016, 1:15 p.m.

  • "M. T.: You'll have to check with Chairish, which takes care of shipping. If you have their "white glove" delivery, the chairs would be delivered to your address and brought in and placed where you'd like them. I will forward a copy of this to Chairish, for their review and further response."

  • "Could you provide Local Delivery on this item? My zip code is ...77459 or 77053"

    July 5, 2016, 9:24 a.m.

  • "Hughie: Having moved the chairs into my home so that I could look at them in greater detail, and having had a seat cover dry-cleaned, I've come to a conclusion. There is no stain. It is the way the light plays on them as you walk past that makes them appear stained. You take another step or two, and what you thought was a stain disappears -- having been created by the light conditions. So much for a non-existent stain! I regret having misinformed those of you who were interested in these chairs."

    June 29, 2016, 6:16 p.m.

  • "Dave D.: The sensible resolution of this problem would be a personal look at the chairs. There is a means by which you can contract to buy them and arrange for your own delivery, then show up and look at the chairs. If they're unsatisfactory, the sale doesn't happen, and you get your money back. The problem with this particular fabric, which is lovely, is that it has a shimmer to it, making it difficult to photograph as the light will make it lighter or darker, depending on the exposure."

    June 24, 2016, 8:50 p.m.

  • "Dave D.: I thank you for your observations. Actually, the photos do show what I've talked about. If you look at the left hand chair, there is a darkening of the fabric in the upper left hand corner, as compared with the right. The word "staining" is not an accurate description; It's more like the fabric is just dirty, and that's the way it shows."

    June 24, 2016, 2:41 p.m.

  • "Hughie: Thanks for your update as always. We will have to support you in whatever you decided to do... In my humble opinion, it may be that because one is never able to see the stains in your pics, it has become a hinderance for those who have been interested. Often sellers will reveal in their pictures where the issues are to enable a more informed decision to purchase. Thanks again."

    June 24, 2016, 2:34 p.m.

  • "I am posting this because there is interest from several parties in these chairs/I have reduced the offering price because there has been a stain on both chairs, and I have no knowledge of its source. I've taken the cover t o a seat cushion to a dry cleaner, and picked it up today, June 24. The stain or whatever it was cleaned out, and the fabric looks good. I have two options: to offer the chairs "as is," for a greatly reduced price. Or have the chairs professionally cleaned, then reoffer them for more."

    June 24, 2016, 12:54 p.m.

  • "Dave D.: Yes."

    June 24, 2016, 10:38 a.m.

  • "Hughie: Are these chairs still available?"

    June 24, 2016, 10:12 a.m.

  • "Dave D.: Took a seat cover to the dry cleaner yesterday. Will let you know the result when I get it back, David. ~Hughie"

    June 15, 2016, 5:47 p.m.

  • "Dave D.: Hello, we are checking in again with you. Hope all is well."

    June 15, 2016, 4:58 p.m.

  • "Hughie: Ok. Sounds good. The shippers' names would be appreciated also..Thanks again."

    June 12, 2016, 6:42 p.m.

  • "Dave D.: I just looked at the chairs again. I'm a bit mystified by the discoloration. It seems to just be on the surface. I'm going to take the cover off one of the seat cushions and take it to a dry cleaner and see what comes back."

    June 12, 2016, 2:37 p.m.

  • "Dave D.: I was of the impression you're just over the mountain in Hollywood Hills. A lot of my sales have been clear across the country, sometimes taking several weeks to deliver. Would you like me to provide you with the names of a couple of shippers in LA who are here regularly to pick up?"

    June 10, 2016, 8:24 p.m.

  • "Hughie: Yes we have read the replies. Thank you. The distance to pick them up has been an issue and not seeing the stains as requested were a concern of my client.. but not a deal breaker. One of the few remaining questions is what is the measurement from the floor to the base of the chair to get a real assessment of the chair size. Also, are the wood frames without scratches as it appears in the pictures. Thanks again. PS: I will venture to say that if you were closer, we would have purchased already."

    June 10, 2016, 4:13 p.m.

  • "Dave D.: Yes, they're still available. I assume you've looked at the exchange of comments preceding today."

    June 10, 2016, 3:40 p.m.

  • "Hello Hughie, I have been away on business. Are these chairs still available?"

    June 10, 2016, 3:32 p.m.

  • "Dave D.: I apologize for the delay in responding. I looked at the two chairs about which you inquired. The colors you see in the photos are representative. However, on inspection I find that both chairs have stains of some sort. One on the seat, the other on the interior near the left top (as you're looking at it). I don't know whether the stains can be cleaned out. The chairs are in good shape functionally -- nice carved wood. I hope this is helpful. ~Hughie"

    June 4, 2016, 6:55 p.m.

  • "Ok thanks my friend. My client is definitely interested. Would you say that the pictures are truly indicative of the color of the chairs. Also, we don't see any stain anywhere. Are these pics showing both chairs or just multiple pics of the same chair? Do you believe the stain could be cleaned? And lastly, would you be willing to email a pic of the chair's stain.?Ultimately we can refabric if need be... just curious if needing to do so. If the throw pillow covers the stain, then we are good 4 now. Thanks."

    May 30, 2016, 1:11 p.m.

  • "Dave D.: I thank you for your inquiry. The distance -- depending on where you are in Hollywood Hills -- is 140- 150 miles. You'd have to plan on about 2.5 hours of driving time. However, Chairish has White Glove delivery to there, so you may want t o inquire of them about how much that would cost. I regret that I am unable to communicate with you -- or anyone else -- by telephone, as I am severely hearing impaired."

    May 30, 2016, 1 a.m.

  • "..Hope all is well. Few questions: How far are you from Hollywood Hills? Also, can we speak soon by phone at some point? Thank you, Peter Newberg"

    May 29, 2016, 11:23 p.m.

  • "Dave D.: Yes, they're available."

    May 28, 2016, 11:06 p.m.

  • "I am the business mgr for the artist interested..."

    May 28, 2016, 6:48 p.m.

  • "Hello, My name is Peter Newberg, Warner Music. Please let us know if these chairs are still available asap. Thanks."

    May 28, 2016, 6:47 p.m.

  • "Hi could you show a picture of the stained chair?"
