Hand-crafted in the early 20th century, likely British Ceylon (present day Sri Lanka) / Anglo-Indian (Colonial rule of India), featuring intricately carved floral and foliate motifs throughout, hand-crafted of top-quality solid Camphor wood displaying rich grain patterns, legged chest - coffer form with a hinged-lid top, lifting open to reveal an interior fitted with a removable divided tray, lower exterior drawer, inset handles to the drawer front and flanks, rising on short cabriole legs ending on pad feet.
