This is an original mid-century vintage French fashion plate. It features men’s formal attire for the 1960 Spring-Summer season. It is a RARE piece that came from a French men’s master tailoring publication, L’Homme. It showcases the classic tuxedo, a white double breasted dinner jacket, and a white tuxedo jacket. It is a handsome print that features luxurious, highly stylized men’s wear. It highlights sophisticated accessories such as a cummerbund, pocket squares, bow ties, and cuff linked shirts. This is a classy piece for the fashionable guy who dresses in formal wear for a very special evening. The print is especially clean in charcoal grays and creamy white tones. The image is printed on thick paper stock and was intended for display purposes at one time. It is signed by the illustrator, C. Brenner. Brenner had a long career in France as a leading illustrator of men’s fashions. Purchased in Paris. The print is in excellent clean condition. It is signed and dated to 1960.
