The clear glass body is richly decorated with Valencia’s intricate gold filigree pattern, punctuated by raised emerald-green diamond accents. The dense geometric decoration gives the piece its distinctive Moorish-inspired, jewel-like appearance and makes it as striking on display as it is functional on a bar.

This example is particularly appealing for the preservation of its elaborate gold decoration, with no significant loss noted. The substantial glass form measures approximately 6 inches in diameter by 5 inches high.

Designed originally as an ice bucket, it also works beautifully as a small wine or champagne chiller, bar accessory, or decorative vessel.

Culver’s Valencia pattern dates to the early 1960s and epitomizes the exuberant, luxurious side of American Mid-Century Modern barware.

Dimensions: approximately 6" W × 6" D × 5" H.

Very good vintage condition. Gold and green decoration remain exceptionally well preserved. Please see photographs for details. See less
